Mayor Oscar Goodman says he´s still mad after President Obama made a couple of comments about people spending money in Las Vegas.
Earlier this month, the President said "When times are tough, you have to tighten your belt.
You don´t go buying a boat, when you can barely pay your mortgage, and you don´t blow a bunch of cash in Las Vegas, when you are trying to save for college.
Goodman and others say the comments were derogatory, and costed the city tourism dollars.
President Obama arrived in Las Vegas Thursday evening, and stayed overnight, before taking part in a town hall meeting today.
He also plans to spend some time on the Las Vegas Strip, visiting the new City Center.
But Mayor Goodman is not backing down.
He says people in Las Vegas are fighting to keep their homes, feed their families and keep their jobs and the president´s comments have not helped.
