Speaking at the Baas Party Headquarters, Arinc called the Turkish delegation´s talks very fruitful.

Arinc said, his talks with his Mohammed Sa-id Boukheitan  pleased him most...BUT he gave NO details about what  they discussed.
 
Earlier, Arinc met with Syrian President Bashir Assad in the Syrian Capital.
 
Arinc said he also held talks with the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs of Syria, Abdallah al-Dardari..

For his part, Boukheitan said that Turkey and Syria have a strong historical bond.
He said both countries wanted their relations to grow stronger.

He noted "There are dozens strategic cooperation agreements between Turkey and Syria."

Mohammed Sa-id Boukheitan added that as the political party in charge of the government in Syria, they pay high importance to their relations with Turkey.
