It was dark in London, when the Turkish Prime Minister and his delagation arrived in the British capital.
Erodogan is due to meet with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown today, where they will discuss a number of issues, including Turkey´s E-U accession process.
Speaking to media in London, Erdogan said his visit is important for the enhancement of bilateral relations, and cooperation between the two countries in the international arena.
He said the United Kingdom has been the country that extended the greatest support to Turkey´s EU membership bid.
He added Turkey will work in close cooperation with the UK.
The Turkish Prime Minister said, in talks Brown, he hopes to also discuss the Cyprus issue, as well as the recent developments in Pakistan, Yemen and Afghanistan.
Erdogan said the ongoing talks in Cyprus have entered a critical stage.
He added that the steps taken by the Turkish Cypriot side, should be reciprocated by the Greek Cypriot administration.
